2016 OMSC Annual General Meeting – October 16th

Our AGM, including Awards Presentations and Potluck, is Sunday, October 16th, 10:30am – 12:00pm at the H2O Pool-side Classroom

All members of OMSC are welcome to attend, including affiliate members and coaches. This announcement serves as notice of the 2016 Annual General Meeting for Okanagan Masters Swim Club.

The following positions will be elected at our Annual General Meeting this year:

  1. President (2-year term)
    • Sharon Spring will stand for election (currently in an Acting capacity)
  2. Treasurer (2-year term)
    • Brenda Balderson will stand for re-election
  3. Registrar (2-year term)
    • Greg Harris will stand for election (currently in an Acting capacity)
  4. Director-at-Large (2-year term)
    • Jennifer Leach-Trask will step down after 6 years on the Board.
  5. Director-at-Large (2-year term)
    • Carol Taylor will stand for re-election

If you would like to add your name to the ballot for any of these positions, please contact Laura Fleming (OMSC Secretary) as soon as possible to express your interest. Nominations can also be made at the meeting on October 16th.

We are still looking for nominations for the above awards – please take the time to nominate swimmers you know – Nomination Form. We will close nominations early next week.

 

 

Potluck Information

Members are invited to bring a food item (hot or cold) to share during our AGM. Coffee and tea will be provided. Seating will be meeting-style, without tables to sit at. Help reduce garbage and bring your own plate, utensils and cup.
