Step TwoChoose the Membership plan:
The 2010-2011 season offers flexible swim membership options:
- Level “L” (part time swimmer — maximum 2 workouts per week)
- Level “U” (full time swimmer — unlimited workouts per week)
Benefits:
- View or Download the 2010-2011 Registration form below, to check the generous range of membership and payment options.
- For those who cannot pay for the full annual season in advance, we offer a really attractive low fee option to cut post-dated cheques for the 1st of each swim month.
- For those who will be away for a few months of the season but want to sign up for the rest of it, we also offer an attractive option to pay upfront or to cut post-dated cheques for those swim months.
- Members can mix and match their training sessions (e.g. if your preferred workout times are Mon, Wed, and Fri evenings, but this week, you are out of town on Monday, you can elect to make up the workout you missed at any of the other sessions)
- Our membership policy also allows for membership transfer under certain conditions. For example, if you become injured, you can apply to transfer your membership to another swimmer on a temporary basis.
Coaching:
Two certified swim/triathlon coaches will be on deck for every session with more than 4 swim lanes and one coach on deck for sessions of 4 lanes or less.
Jonathan Smirl, Head Coach, has a lot of experience as both a swim coach for recreational and competitive masters and triathlon swimmers. He is also completing his Masters Degree in Human Kinetics. As we get closer to the Triathlon and Open Water season, there will be more emphasis on distance freestyle training sets.
Step ThreeSelect the payment option you’d like.
We’ve faced some scary cost increases recently. The H2O Adventure and Fitness Centre increased lane rental rates by 14.3% on January 1st, 2010 and will increase these again by 11.3% on January 1st, 2011. If that wasn’t enough of a harsh kick in the bank account, on July 1st, 2010 the HST came into effect. The good news is that we continue to enjoy great support from a large group of dedicated swimmers, and we’ve already factored all these cost increases into the fee schedule for 2010-2011.
We prefer to receive cheque payments for annual memberships, to keep membership costs to the minimum. We also offer PayPal for month-to-month membership, if that works best for you.
