Register

OMSC runs 12 months of the year and registration can be submitted at any time during the year.

  • We have up to 12 coached sessions per week, depending on the time of year.
  • Members have unlimited access to any session and can swim as often and whenever you like. However, some sessions may be busier than others with more swimmers per lane and because of this, we can’t guarantee each session will have enough room.
  • The times of the swims vary as does the pool length (25 m or 50 m). Check out our schedule for details.
  • We look forward to seeing you on deck!

Registration Process

Registration applications and acceptances will be handled digitally to reduce the need for paper and face to face interaction. No hard copy paper registrations will be accepted.

  1. Ensure you have Adobe Acrobat Reader freeware installed on your computer.
  2. Download the registration document.
  3. Save the PDF to you desktop.
  4. Open the document from your desktop, fill in all the required information and save.
  5. Email the document as an attachment to [email protected].
  6. Our Registrar will notify you by email for next steps as soon as your application has been received, checked and accepted.

Fees

Fees are payable in three parts as below:

  1. Annual registration fee is $105.00 and is valid September 1 to August 31.  The fee is reduced to $64 if registering late in the season (April 1 to August 31).  This once a year Swim BC/Swimming Canada membership fee and OMSC admin fee is collected upon registration.  OMSC registers all members with Swim BC and Swimming Canada as part of our service. This fee in part, insures our Masters Swimmers.
  2. A YMCA-H2O membership is required. (effective January 1, 2024: $64.00 Adults 25-64, and $52.00 for 19-24 and 65+, Student $32).
  3. The monthly OMSC fee is $35.00.

*Only the YMCA-H2O fee attracts GST.

*Because of our partnership with the YMCA at H2O, members of OMSC are also full members of the H2O facility. This offers complete access to the H2O facility – the recreational pool, the fitness facility and all the other amazing Y programs.
